Ingredients
- 01120 g cold-smoked salmon, sliced
- 0260 g full-fat cream cheese
- 031 small peach, nectarine, or 100 g berries
- 04Flaky sea salt
- 05Optional: 1 tsp raw honey for the fruit
Method
Arrange the smoked salmon on one side of a plate, slightly draped, not flat.
Place the cream cheese in the centre. If it has been refrigerated, let it soften on the bench for 5 minutes — cold cream cheese is harder to eat alongside salmon.
Slice the stone fruit into wedges, or halve any larger berries. Arrange on the other side of the plate.
Drizzle the fruit with raw honey if using.
Finish with a small pinch of flaky salt across the salmon and the cream cheese.
Eat in any order. The combinations: salmon + cream cheese (classic), salmon + fruit (cold contrast), cream cheese + fruit (the dessert version).
